Rudolph Foods’ “Art That OINKS!” Art Contest Rules

1. Eligibility

The Rudolph Foods’ “Art That OINKS!” Art Contest is open only to high school art students (Classes of 2010–2013) in the following Ohio counties: Allen, Auglaize, Hancock, Hardin, Putnam and Van Wert.

2. Sponsor

Rudolph Foods Company, Inc., 6575 Bellefontaine Road, Lima, OH 45804.

3. Timing

The art contest begins April 6th, 2010 @ 8:00 A.M. ET, ends Monday, June 7th, 2010 @ 5:00 P.M.

4. How to Enter

Complete the entry form and return to Amanda Helmstetter at Rudolph Foods Company, Inc. by May 3rd, 2010. Entry forms may be returned via mail to “Rudolph Foods Company, PO BOX 509, Lima, OH 45802 Attn: “Art that OINKS!”, via fax to 419.648.3602, or via email to .

1. a. Submission Guidelines: Art piece must be delivered to Rudolph Foods Company, Inc., 6575 Bellefontaine Road, Lima, OH by 5:00 P.M. on Monday June 7th, 2010.
2. b. Content Restrictions:
1. i. The submission must not contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement;
2. ii. The submission must not disparage Sponsor or any other person or party affiliated with the promotion and administration of this Contest;
3. iii. The submission must not contain brand names or trademarks other than that of the Sponsor;
4. iv. The submission must not contain unauthorized use of text, images or artwork not created by entrant;
5. v. The submission must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortuous, defamatory, slanderous, or libelous as determined by Sponsor in it’s sole discretion;
6. vi. The submission must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion; and
7. vii. The submission must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any jurisdiction where submission is created.

5. Winner Determination

Winners will be determined according to the process set forth below.

a. Judging Phase A

A panel of judges will review and select the best of each category and the overall top five finalists on Thursday, June 10th, 2010 by 3:00 P.M. The finalists will be notified via phone by Friday, June 11th, 2010 at 12:00 Noon.

b. Judging Phase B

The top five finalists’ pieces will be displayed at the Rudolph Foods booth during the Pork Rind Heritage Festival on June 11th—12th, 2010. During the festival, attendees will be encouraged to vote for an overall winner or “People’s Choice” winner.

6. Prizes

Six (6) Best of Category Prizes

Rudolph Foods t-shirt given to best of the following categories (sculpting, painting, drawing, photography, graphic design, and ceramics.)

Five (5) Finalist Prizes

$25 and Rudolph Foods case of product. ARV: $35.

One (1) People’s Choice Prize

$250 and special plaque. ARV: $300.

Winners can collect their prizes at Rudolph Foods during normal business hours the week of June 14 – 18th, 2010 (8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.). All prizes not picked up by 5:00 P.M. on June 18th will be mailed to the winner’s address provided on the entry form.

7. Release

By participating, entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor from and against and claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.

8. Submission Retrieval

All entrants will be responsible for collecting their art piece from Rudolph Foods Company the week of June 14-18th, 2010 during normal business hours (8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.).
