We hope you’re enjoying a summer full of picnics and festivities! Rudolph Foods just helped throw the biggest event for pork rinds of the year—The 20th Annual Pork Rind Heritage Festival in Harrod, Ohio!

This year, we invited Major League Eating to bring in some of their world-renowned eaters to compete in a pork rind eating competition! We even had a few locals and one of our own Rudolph Foods executives take on the challenge. Check out photos and watch a video of the competition on our Facebook fan page!

Did you know that Rudolph Foods actually has a gold standard when it comes to our pork rinds? At our plants, all around the world, we have special employees who pick the most perfect pork rinds and grant them as the gold standard. Why? Even though every pork rind in our bag is tasty and delicious, we just won’t stop until they all look as good as they taste!

See if you can pick out the gold standard pork rinds in your next bag of Rudolph’s. Above are several for you to "pick" through. (The answer to our perfect test is listed below upside-down in red) Look for:
  1. A completely golden rind
  2. The perfect formation and fully puffed into a light and delicious rind.
